Since I do speak Japanese, the japanese stuff should be 死の舞 (shi no mai). And yeah the vocals in the middle were actually funny af lol. Id be really happy to be your vocalist if you intend to troll the shit out of it.

Its probably the funniest song out there lmao im having period cramps fml

mm2x2 responds:

Japanese= not 100, and sure! I would like to create more troll-y stuff in the future, I love working with other people, you can msg me here or on discord, and thanks, I didn't realize that it was that funny xD

Watch out your compression! Nice melody!
Your name is so similar to mine lmao

Also thank you, and lol you're right.

I wish I was this good when I was 14

3YEOfficial responds:

thank you!!!

It was a long time since I reviewed your work, so lemme do it now...
Nice melody first, I had to drop that
There are definitely stuff that you can improve. I was listening it with shitty headphones cuz the good one is under repair. Hence I won’t be commenting on the mixing
Pros:
- Good melody, really melodic and heavenly
- Heavy drop
- Nice song structure
Cons:
- Do not overuse compression. Sometimes you have to use distortion as a way of mastering.
- The piano section is a bit too distorted, it should be a bit less loud.
- The sidechain isn’t obvious enough. It should really make your drums punchy.
- My biggest complaint is there are mediant minor chords followed immediately by tonic major chords. It sounds a bit off. The mediant minor chords sounds best followed by submediant chords (aka minor tonic) or supertonic major chords (aka dorian chords). My bad if this is too subjective but I’ll just throw it here.

Lastly, this has nothing to do with the score, I feel like this isn’t really riddim cuz the snares in the drop aren’t layered with kicks.

SaZyK responds:

Yes, thank you very much, I love knowing that you liked it and receiving your advice helps me a lot, I hope to improve in the field of mixing 7u7

Au5 Freefall sample pack!
But I would love to hear more of your own sounds!

Lubloom responds:

Yeah I love that pack, mostly for the drum loop from Emergence because it has the nicest cymbal pattern. I used 4 brief samples from emergence and the rest are my own

Nice house, love the use of triplets! Also great vocal chops!
I would’ve preferred a drop somewhere

Lubloom responds:

Thanks! I've never really used triplets before. That vocal chop was a complete accident too, made it out of the main vocal. I would have put a drop in but I thought it was best without one for this song

I can’t count how many times I had goosebumps when listening to this, over and over again. I always have a habit of checking out my followers’ music, and I came across this. I have very tough standards when it comes to evaluating people’s music, but this one just blew my mind!
Ok enough of blabla, lets get into the details:
The fade-in in the beginning just before the first piano note hit was very subtle yet amazing, you don’t really have to make your song epic af, subtle details can completely ascend a song to a new level, and it is exactly what happens here!
At 00:11, the chord is a major B flat chord, which in your F minor song, is a dorian chord. I don’t know what other people think about the dorian mode, but I personally adore this music style, so yeah, already 11 seconds in and I’m super satisfied.
Across the intro, I can hear a faint ambient sound of water or bird, this adds a lot of calmness to the atmosphere.
At 00:27, the reverbed bass drum or thud is very soothing as it lacks high frequency.
So far I can hear four components of your intro before 00:47, a piano, a bass pad, a background faint pad playing higher chords and an ambient sound. Nothing missing and nothing out of place. Great job!
At 00:48, I can hear a repeating plucked saw synth with a quiet kick and some high chords. These agitate the song a bit, bridging gradually towards the first drop.
At 01:25, I love the apparition of a sound kinda like an emergency alarm, really sets the mood and leads us to the drop!
Great drop! Got me dancing a bit (since I’m a dubstep producer)! However, I would’ve liked it more if it was a bit more stereo, especially the growl at 01:34. But it is just a minor complaint in a sea of amazements!
The flute at 02:06... Words cannot explain how beautiful that was! Since I’m Asian, there are a lot of flutes in the traditional songs of my country, and I have always loved how they sound, especially when leading a serene part of a song.
Another dorian part at 02:47! Sorry, I had to point it out...
Lets talk about the 03:02 part: I see what you wanted to do here. You wanted to have a kinda orchestral drop where everything is super epic and big, but you don’t have very good sound libraries that feature true orchestral instruments. If you ever lay your hands on Kontakt libraries, you will absolutely love it, even the most basic library that comes with the software itself has some pretty damn good content! As a side note, I feel like this part of the song should really have some brass ensemble and French horn going on, as they will double the epicness (is that even a word?).
The last drop is awesome, theres really nothing to say about it.
And there is the outro, a very good fading out outro that perfectly concludes the song.
In general, I feel like the song could be mastered a bit more and thus making it loud and boosting the drops. If you want me to master it for you, I would be very happy to do it for free!
Good job!

PS: I just saw your age, I’m super glad that people of our age make incredible music, keep it up! I hope that you will continue making music, as a talent like this is very very rare in the world!

3YEOfficial responds:

Thank you so much!!!! I really appreciate it! I definitely understand what you're talking about with the orchestral section, I've been working a lot of humanizing my instruments lately. I have two different Kontakt libraries actually but neither have particularly realistic violins :/ and with regards to mastering it's a problem I've consistently had since I started producing lol, can't get my peaks to the right levels so my master ends up really quiet.
Once again, thanks so much! I've really been enjoying your music too so I really appreciate feedback from someone with your kind of skill :)

As a bored girl who makes dubstep, I felt the need to review this.
Love the intro! Really strong and epic!
The drop was actually pretty good for a non-scouted artist, dubstep is the hardest EDM genre to produce and you did it pretty well.
The part after 2:03 was heavenly!

However, the song is a bit overcompressed, and the drums lack sidechain. The rising sound effect is a bit too loud.

You are too good for a 15 year old unscouted artist, really. So I decide to scout you!

Happy birthday!

SaZyK responds:

I'm glad you like it, I hope to improve and thank you very much ;^)
